Now everyone can immerse themselves in this fantastic artistic creation, which includes our special feature artists Oscar Schwartz, Jackie Ralph and Terra.

There is a definite buzz in the Melbourne air as the last weeks of August and winter slip by. But it isn’t the thought of sunshine and footy finals that has the town in a fluster — late August means only one thing: the Melbourne Writers Festival.
Victoria University has teamed up with MWF15 to give emerging writers and editors the chance to be reviewers/editors for a day.
I was lucky enough to edit reviews for Georgia Buck, Maria Dunne, Marcelle Liemant and Amanda Pearson.
Check out this great blog to keep up with all the literary action.
“Winter is the perfect season for staying indoors and keeping warm…and writing!”
If you’ve always wanted to give writing a go, but weren’t sure how to start, why don’t you come along to one of my ‘Introduction to Creative Life Writing’ courses?
I’ll be running two separate sessions:
Melbourne’s western suburbs often feature in my writing.
I’ve always been proud to identify with ‘this side’ of the river. This Thursday, I’ll get the chance to share my sense of place with fellow writers who feel the same at the Emerging Writers Festival, ‘Letters to the West’ at Littlefoot Bar in Footscray.
Join me as I take you on a journey through ‘The Streets of my Childhood’.
“We all have a story to tell: personal stories, family histories and community events form the fabric of our lives.”
